We conserve and restore paintings, works on paper, photographs, frames, textiles, and objects that have been damaged through age, accident, water, fire, smoke, pests, or environmental deterioration.
With over 30 years of experience, our aim is to stabilise, preserve, and where appropriate restore artworks while respecting their history and original character.
Our Conservation Approach
We follow the principle of minimal intervention, carrying out only the treatment necessary to stabilise and preserve the artwork.
Where possible, conservation materials and restoration treatments remain reversible in accordance with accepted conservation practice.
Insurance & Disaster Damage Restoration
We provide conservation and restoration services for artworks affected by water, fire, smoke, impact, transit, and other accidental damage. We regularly work with private clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and restoration companies throughout New Zealand and Australia.
